After Trump had cut the advertising budget for the Affordable Care Act by 90%, we sent a callout to our industry to do what we do best...get things seen.  A few social posts and a toolkit turned into a major effort backed by advertising and media agencies around the country with national TV, billboards in Times Square and record-breaking health care sign-ups. Even everyday Americans helped spread the word by using our Facebook Frame and sharing pre-created social posts. The Coverage Coalition reached over 100 million people in the month and half the campaign was live. The better news that it didn’t stop there. In the first week alone, enrollments were up 179% as compared to 2016. In the second week, enrollment was still up 60%. In fact, every week of open enrollment was up over previous years.
